| Subject: How long does it take FBI to give the clearance |
I sent in my finger prints alongwith the money more than 6 weeks ago. It said in the forms that they take 3-6 weeks. As I said I have not received anything yet from FBI. Does anyone know if it can take more than 6 weeks. Thanks.

Yes sometimes it does. I had called them to find out, I don´t remember the phone number but they had said it will be delivered in 3-4 days.
I got the clearance on the 5th day after the conversation.

Just check the papers from CIC regarding the FBI prints, maybe google it. I know its some number in Virginia or West Virginia. Sorry abt that, I don´t remember it.

Anybody knows how to contact FBI regarding the status of my police report? I sent out the fingerprint card in Mid May. 10 weeks passed and I still haven?t received anything from FBI. Is that normal?
By the way, my timeline

No phone number for FBI. You?re supposed to email them at mih@leo.gov for any status questions. They?re very good in responding.
