Hi, i live in US and am traveling to canada for my comfirmation of PR as awell as H1-B stamping. I would like to know how to show the proof of funds as we dont have a canadian bank account. Is it ok to show as a US bank statement or cashier´s check or traveller´s check. Since I am planning to go back to US after my H1-B stamping what form of proof of funds can i show at the port of entry. Can it be a Bank statement from US or a traveller´s check, cashier´s check or cash? Please advice. I appreciate your help and time. Abhi

(in reply to: Proof of funds @ port of entry for canadian PR) Of course it can be a statement from a US bank. As long as it is YOUR bank account and your money, of course.

(in reply to: Proof of funds @ port of entry for canadian PR) Thanks Emb.
Do I need to tell/convince the authority at port of entry that I will be transfering the funds available in US bank account to Canada within a month or so?
Since I will not be moving to canada now, how do I handle this situation? Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
Thanks Abhi
