Subject: Can Federal PR work & live in Quebec
I saw this posting "Can Quebec PR work in other province". How about the other way around?
If someone with federal PR gets a Job or admission in a school/university in Quebec... Can he live in Quebec?

I´ve asked this question too. The answers I read were always consistent. As long as you land anywhere in Canada except Quebec as a Federel SW, you can then subsequently move to Quebec without restriction.

there is no gate at the Quebec border. Once you have your PR, you are free to settle wherever you are best likely to find work and the lifestyle of your choosing.

yes you can, but as a new immigrant you don´t have some privilages as those with CSQ (mainly free french courses)

Also, you won´t be eligible for Quebec tuition rate but ´other Canadian´ which is about twice as expensive, I believe. Still better than international fees though! And you won´t be able to get Quebec medicare for 3 months, I don´t think, as you won´t have the CSQ.

tuition rate is another issue true but regarding medicare it the same for CSQ holders you have to wait 3 months as well.
