| Subject: 66 points..will my app get approved? |

I had my IELTS score sent to CIC-buffalo a month ago. After how long will receinve any communication from CIC about my application.
I have a total of 66 points for Skilled Worked Application. I have pretty good documentation, academic credentials and work experience. What are the chances of approving my application for immigration?
Has any one got their immigration with 66 points?

67 is Ok, 66 is no way near to OK.
At least 67 Required, Somehow, Exact 67 will be Fine enuf.

given the numbers of applicants waiting in line for entry into Canada, I am doubtful that they would accept a 66 point score. That does not mean the more points you have, the better chances you have... it just means they will stick to their point requirements.

it depends from where you are applying.
In Moscow in the CIC Seminars t is made clear that with point a little short of the 67, you can apply IF you have MORE INCOME, BETTER LANGUAGE. The officer will evaluate your adaptation chances thoroughly. No guarantees, all depends on your ability to prove your capabilities. Interview will surely be required.
Like I said in Moscow, I don´t know of other places.

Visa officer has authority after the interview to give up to 5 points if he/she considers applicant is competent.
