i applied for my husband since nov.2005 they took his interview in april,06 and took his passport too but not reply till now. when we inquire one time they said investigationg background check. so if any one here who knws how much time will it take??
PLS try and help me here.
thankx everybody who ever is taking time to give me suggestions.

Which country are you applying from? We need to know if the time is within the normal timeline, if it´s within the normal timeline there´s much that you can do.

unfortunatly the same is happening with my husband. I started the application in May 2005 and he had his interview in January of 2006 and we have not heard a thing. Unfortunatley i am thinking of leaving my country and job that i have had for 8 years to go be with him cause its impossible to carry on seperate like this. He is coming from Spain but he birth country is Algeria and i cant help but thing it´s because of his country of birth because i know alot of people who got into Canada in 2 to 3 months. Seems so unfair. So if you hear of anything please let me know. Thank you Jamie
