Hi all,
I got my IA last month from NY office (AOR - July 2005).
They are asking for proof of fund.
In that letter, they specified me to provide either:
a. Bank Statements OR
b. Certificate from my bank or accountant showing my assets or liabilities.
I am going to provide option (a) Bank Statements.
But the question is:
1. How many bank statements?
2. Does it need to contain all the pages (all transactions I did) or only the summary page?

Hi Rickie,
All you have to do is to go to your bank and ask them for certificate of balance in your account.They will issue a cert. stating your balance till that date.It can be your saving account or chequing or both.if you have any fixed deposist you can even include that.
You DONT have to give any bank statements or the transaction history.

think of what they are looking for. Is the money going in and out of the account for ´show´ or is it really there for your immigration. Provide the documents that will answer the question.

I was asked for the same by Detroit.
I just printed out my account balance from my bank´s internet site and sent that in and it was fine.
