| Subject: Can finacee leave Nigeria once we are married? |

I´am getting married to my finacee of 3yrs this October in Lagos Nigera. Can he leave Lagos Nigeria once we are legally married on October 20th or does he have to wait for permanet residence for Canada. We have been seperated for 3 yrs and we just want to get on with our lives here in Canda.

if he can get a visitors visa- yes. If not (and the chances are good it would be refused) then you can do one of 2 things.
1) remain in Nigeria and sponsor your partner from there (could take up to 1 year)
2)or you come home, leaving your husband there, and sponsor him from Canada.

Accra is a very difficult visa post.
You can submit your conjugal relationship application now!!!! Then update it by the time Mississauga CPC approves you as a sponsor which should be about the time Accra creates a file numnber and you are officially married.
ACCRA normally challenge 80% of all Spousal sponsorships from their countries. Make sure you have about sixty relationship photos (non-wedding photos) and make sure they show the two of you laughing having fun. Him hol;ding you the same way in many photos and you leaning on him the same way. Its better if the two of you have the [photos taken when your not looking into the lens.
If you can get your Canadian friends to write about how a pain you are always talking about him make sure its one page long at least and have them photo copy their status documents and atach them to prove the writers status.
Send in any letters he has sent you with the envelopes and vice versa---very important the stamp on the envelope. NEVER USE PHONE CARDS THEY PROVE NOTHING OR THAT YOU ACTUALLY CALLED HIM IMMIGRATION WANTS TO SEE HIS NUMBER ON THE PHONE BILLS.
