All he has to do is keep trying and at one point he will pass the border, it is all up to the border officer. Sometimes they are pain in the but for no reason.
So, just keep trying, if he doesn´t passes, let him wait for another shift or try different officer...
I know it is frastrating but it works.

(in reply to: For TotallyForHim - passing Canadian Border) Hell - have you tried to fly?
I don´t get it why anyone should stop - unless you have any restiction on your passport. Has a deportation stamp ever registered against you or your partner? If so; it is unlikely that you can pass through. But if you try several odd airports, you may be able to pass.
Best of Luck!!

actually.. (in reply to: For TotallyForHim - passing Canadian Border) actually they know who enters and who leaves by license plate scans. They visually tag vehicles. The USA and Canada side share information too. I guess if you take a different car or something? Could train possibly work? Then surely you wouldn´t have many possessions, etc.. Never know

jail, deportation and losing possessions (in reply to: For TotallyForHim - passing Canadian Border) Hi John and all,
Well, my husband has been said if he will try to pass a third time, he will be put in jail in Ottawa, be deported and lose all his possessions.
Thanks for your concern.
