I?m pretty convinced this IS the not-canada spammer. Same material, copied and pasted, over and over, post after post after FREAKING post. Same shit, different day.

*yawns*

I?ve been conversing with a spam-bot. Good thing it?s a slow day at work ;)

No, actually I AM A REAL PERSON WHO GOT SCREWED IN CANADA, LIKE MANY TENS OF THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE!

But don´t worry too much, we´re back in the USA now and quickly rebuilding out lives.

You have to know when to cut your losses and get out of a loser situation.

We left that loser situation, i.e. British Columbia, almost two weeks ago. Already my partner has a long term project he´s working on and we´re both looking for full time positions in the USA again.

Lot of money wasted? Yes, about $75,000 living almost two years without jobs.

We just wish someone would have put out the "not welcome" sign, so that people would know, NOT TO COME TO CANADA.

If you don´t like some of the things I´ve posted, maybe it´s because they are real stories, and it hurts your consciences to see how much Canada has screwed over the little guy, while at the same time it allows mega-corporations to buy out the whole country.

And no, I´m not affiliated with the notcanada dot com people. I just learned of their site yesterday.

I wish I had heard of it before we went to Canada, would have saved us a lot of bad feelings and a lot of money too.

Please, please, send me some more nasty comments....tell me how it´s all our fault and Canada is perfect and we should shut up, etc.

It just shows potential newcomers on here all the love and support they will find in Canada after they are there a year or two and still have no job.

Nah, I think you should just sit on this forum all day and argue with yourself. I´m sure it´ll be very therapeutic for you.

Yea... a long term project about finding a decent job in USA haha. But it´s not so hard finding full time McDonald´s jobs. Have fun.

ok, fine, you´re back in the US, what else are you trying to prove? instead of spending time here, why not go do something constructive. just get on with your life; you´re incredibly annoying.

Who cares!, Get the hell out of Canada, stop complaining. Who gives a shit if you do well or not, if you don´t like Canada go back to the 3rd world country where you are coming from and leave us alone.

We need people who helps Canadian economy, we are not a charity where people have to expect to get things for free.

Like it or not, this country still the 2 largest land mass, first nation of hockey and the BEST part of north america.
As a proud Albertan, we have gas, we have oil , we have money, we have guns.... don´t pissed us off.

and by the way,,,,,, I AM CANADIAN!

If you were capable of securing a job in the USA then it was extremely foolish of you to go to Canada, shame on you, why don´t you leave those people alone !!

I like this:

"and we?re both looking for full time positions in the USA again"

You would think, anyone actively looking for employment would be putting their time and energy into doing that, rather than lolling around on immigration forums moaning about how badly they were wronged by another country. Bitterness is a very counterproductive emotion. We all make our own choices in life, and sometimes things don´t work out the way we had hoped. Learn from it, suck it up, and MOVE ON. Dwelling on the past will get you nowhere.

I personally don´t understand the ´no jobs´ thing. My husband had a job offer here before he even got landed. We had to rush to get him landed and get his SIN so he could start his new job right away. He´s now employed by a great company, in his field, making good money, and his experience, skills and education are being utilized. We have a nice home, nice cars, life is good!

Maybe we were just lucky, but I have a hard time believing ´every immigrant´ who comes to Canada is living at poverty-level. That´s bullshit.

wow, you had a busy morning over at expat! what... 3 different ID´s same schlock, discussing the same stories you put under one or two or four ID´s over here.

at least have the brains to change your writing style if you want people to think you are an army of discontents.

glad to know you are back home safe from your adventure into hell. Now there is no reason for you to come here.

Joe shut your filthy damn mouth, or I am gonna blow it off with my vintage Winchester. You ain´t got no better shooter nor cowboy than the Right Man.

Fag-man formerly in BC: I ain´t got no counts against ya. I am a yank too, sitting in Canuckland. And don´t regret it for a bit. However, know that you are unlikely to influence any potential immigrants with your posts. Even if every word you write is true, all these bums are going to think this way: that there the yank fag feller failed for his own reasons. But I am better and have better luck so I will succeed.... and off to the CIC they send their paperwork and they might actually begin to whine once they realize they are running outa cash and need to work in a factory to get some cold hard cash. Leave these things to their own time. As far as you doing public a service by enlightening them with your misfortune so they might avoid the same fate, you already done it plenty... so time for ya to move on and figure out where to go from here. Good luck.
