Subject: Health Insurance card not received-how to complain |

I landed in Canada early this year. I have applied for my health insurance card in Quebec as I am a resident now. I haven´t received the health card, after regular callings and regular visits to maladie office, they say we sent you two weeks ago, and I never receive it, they have sent it more than 3 times to my address, but I never receive it, I am fed-up, and really frustrated, I really do not want to go to the office anymore, I want to challenge legally, could you please let me know what to do, can I contact my area Member of Parliament and ask to deal it? or how do I proceed because I cannot go to the health insurance office and waste 2 hours to confirm that I haven´t received the card. Or I cannot call them and waste my time, Please advise.

(in reply to: Health Insurance card not received-how to complain) You can´t complain. They sent it to you, it could well be Canada Post´s fault. If you really want to try, google around and see what you come up with. I got my health card in Quebec very quickly!

(in reply to: Health Insurance card not received-how to complain) Mountains it is about time you saddled up and headed into Mountains, where you seem to belong in the first place. Also you don´t need no medical cards up in mountains, where you ain´t got no docs nor hospitals. Just live off the Land. What a goddam loser!
