Subject: Need a little help
  Hi guys,
I´m living in Canada as a student since Sep. 2000.
I applied as a skilled worker in July, 2004 and received AOR at the beginning of Aug. I know, from the beginning, that it´s gonna take long time, and need to be patient. However, I´ve been kind of depressing these days; my friends are leaving Canada one by one, even my boyfriend left Canada after living together for more than 2yrs.

It was my dream to live in Canada and find my way of life in this beautiful country. I´m in the last year of studying at a college, and intending to find a job related to my major after my graduation.

I guess I need a little help to be positive while I´m waiting for the next response from the immigration office. If there is anybody who is in the similar situation or who could share this moment with me, please reply to this message.

Good luck to all!

Lolo

what´s your major? Depending what diploma you get might help whether you could stay or not. If you are in medical field you are almost guaranteed to be able to stay.
Good luck

Hi Samantha,
Thank you for your quick response.
My mojor is accounting, but I´m not getting "excellent marks" to pass all the courses. Till now I´ve never failed on any of the subjects, but I´ve been passing with pretty low marks... I won´t be able to transfer my credit to university, so I´m thinking maybe I can get a bookkeeping job or accounting assistant position at a company.

Are you in a medical field?
