Subject: applying from Asia
Hi there,
Did anyone apply from the Philippines?
I´m currently in Japan, and learned that the consulate receiving applications for immigration is in Manila.
I´d like to know other applicants´ experiences and get some advice.

Thanks,
Jen

Hi. I´m from Manila. Yes these is a Consulate here. I will be submitting my papers here next week. How about you? Do you have to go here to submit your application?

Hi there,
Thank you for the reply.
Now I´m gathering my papers, so I´ll apply around June.
Luckily, applicants from Japan can send everything by regular mail and have the interview in Tokyo. (I think people from other Asian countries have to go to Manila).

Are you sending all the requested documents together with your application form? Some info in the forum is a bit confusing because people say that certificates must be sent later.
Are you applying to the Skilled Worker scheme? How are your job prospects?

Regards,
Jen
