hi everyone, i have an important question
i just received my immigrant visa. currently i am in canada. for 5 years i had a study permit. then i extended my stay not as a student but as a visitor. my stay expired first week of august. i have, however, applied for an extension couple weeks before my status expired.
so i still dont have my extension. i was wondering, if i have to wait for my extension or can i just go to the us border and immigrate. i know the canadian side would know my stay in canada is legal but would the US know? should i just wait for my visitor´s extension? i really wanna immigrate, i am sick of waiting :((
