Please I would like to know the possibilities of obtaining a permanent resident permit in Canada in my situation. I started working at 21 as a technician for an oil company and have been working for 5years. I then applied for a student visa into Canada to further my education but was denied on grounds of not returning after the expiration of my visa; despite presenting my study leave letter from the company. Most of my collegues who applied were also denied on the same reason. Can I go ahead to process an immigration visa? so as to pursue my acdemic endevours in Canada.
