Does anyone know whether skilled immigration points would be raised after this meeting from 67 to highger ?

I think it is difficult to answer your question because I do not work for immigration and also I am not sure if they publish in the media the issues that they will be addressing in the meeting.

if you read the press release from the meetings there is no indication that they are even considering a point change. The biggest issue at the moment is getting new immigrant on their feet and working to their skill potential. We have a minority goverment and that kind of policy change would likely spark some loud discussion. I doubt if the Liberal government would risk it. There is enough anxiety in this process without inventing stuff to be worried about. In reality... if the point requirement changes...there is absolutely nothing we can do about it anyway. We are all filed, and what will happen will happen. Let´s cross that bridge if we need to.
