| Subject: Amendment of landing document |

I and my wife got PR cards but my 8 years old daughter did not get it and the application of PR card of my daughter was returned advising to amend the record of landing because the sex was mistakenly indicated as Male in stead of Female in the landing paper.
To change the record of landing as per instruction given in IMM 5218E, I need to send the original passport of my daughter with the application to ammend the record of landing.
I am staying in Kuwait now and not feeling comfortable to send the original passport of my daughter to Ottwa.
In stead of sending original Passport,can I send the copy of the passport attested by Canadian Embassy in Kuwait ?
In case, I had to send the original passport, how long the immigration may take to return it?

sorry i am just new unable to help but I need some help from you.
did you give interview in kuwait? what after interview and how long didyou have to wait? when was the medical and background check and how long.

If they have asked Passport - please send passport only.
They usually take about 4-6 weeks for turnaround on passport returns.

I am amazed that you ask help from others but you dont want to help others. why dont you provide shiv with information you already have ?

Hi Prabhu,
Go easy on the guy, it was less than a day before u gave a harsh reply to Gentle man
Not everybody accesses the internet everyday.
I am sure Gentle man wiil help shiv and others by posting his experiences soon
