way to go degen95.... :)

even us, we are now both gainfully employed...we got employed after only about a month from landing... my wife in her field (a good position in fact) and me in another career path but also as satisfying as my former field....but I guess no matter how much we testify..there will always be haters....may these positive posts inspire new applicants and those waiting PPRs...

to the haters....its our pleasure to have Canada for ourselves :)

More people should post their success stories. Thing is, the majority of people who do get landed and gainfully employed are busy living their lives and don´t stop back in often enough. It´s the ones wallowing around in self-pity that have time to moan to anyone who will listen how they´ve been ´screwed´ by Canada.

My husband had a job offer before he even got landed. In fact, we had to scramble and drive to Buffalo for same-day stamping and land him on the way back over so that he could get his SIN and start on the day that they wanted him to.

He´s now employed in his field with a great company, in a great position. We´re living a blissfully normal life.

Thanks Canada :)

Most of the whiners are fucking indian or paki or whatever. I don´t think companies want their buildings to smell like curry.

This web site is soo fake. Half of new peeps to Canada get no job and go home. This is all people, black, white, green, red, whatever.

Most of you people are lying immigration scummy people who make money off those who go to Canada.

Get real jobs and stop scamming.

Even Jack Layton of the NDP in Canada spoke about this problem on the floor of parliament. If politicians know it´s true, why is it only immigration lawyers deny the realities of the prejudice in Canadian job market?

Go to hell you stupid lying filthy con artists. maybe one day Canada will crack down on crime, and round all of you con artists up and jail you for a few years for ripping off innocent foreigners with false hopes for a new life in Canada.

No one is denying the difficulty in finding a job specially if one will insist on looking for it in a crowded city like Toronto. If one will explore other Canadian cities, there might be a higher chance of being gainfully employed. An immigrant should also be open to all possibilities and willing to make some adjustments..willing to give some in order to take some. I don´t remember my CIC interviewing officer promising me an immediate job upon landing nor did she promise a wealthy life upon landing.

If you guys really think you have no chance of having a better life in Canada then just don´t go..simple. Canada is for people with positive view on life.

I agree with FWChelle that most of the succesful immigrants have no more time to come by and post their success. I am guilty as charged. Not that we are selfish though but life in Canada is so beautiful that we´d rather spend our time enjoying our new life than reading pathetic posts from people who want nothing but to curse...belittle....and discourage people who are willing to give it a try.

To all haters, I really feel sorry for you guys. Canada has so much to offer...you might be looking at the wrong direction. The choice is yours....improve your life or wallow in self-pity.

124.163.132 - you obviously have trouble with your research because the facts you throw around have no basis in reality. If you wish for people to take your comments seriously, you may want to consider facts that are linked to back up, and the avoidance of insults.

Until that happens, there is no purpose to you posting other than listening to yourself talk.
