Congratulation. I also got PPR but I have a question:
I applied in US and left the country. My friend called me and said I got PPR. Then I heard that he had car accident and he is in hospital now. I can´t go US to visit him and also get PPR documents from him. My question is: what documents include PPR request? May I just send posport and foto just like that or that original papers also are needed to attach?

The firm from whom I applied for the processing jst sent me the PPR letter through email (softcopy) and told me to send tht to Buffalo and it wouldnt matter.
But I paid for my courier and got the original letter from them and planning to send it.
I believe it is enough if you ask ur frd to scan the copy and sent it as an email attachment and u take a printout of tht and send to Buffalo.

you need to send your passport along with the letter that they send you and three photos in a grey envelope. I guess you need that letter, it says that you must send the letter.

I got PPR by email. The email was pretty explicit in terms of what they wanted. Besides passport and 4 fotos, they wanted the information of family (DOB, height etc). I did not use their letter, instead I wrote a cover letter and included the information they wanted. It worked coz I am already a PR.
I think, somehow you need to get hold of someone who has access to the letter and pass on the info to you thru email/phone. Then you can send your passport. Since you applied from US, I think they probably need ur US address to return ur passport.
