Subject: To Raj Question after Question/Sharon
  To All

I have never met Sharon but I have spoken with her just a couple times and everyone on this message board is very lucky she is here. Sharoin is the one that suggested (I jump in here) to answer Raf questions.

So many people wait for the day they get their visa then there are those like Raj. Raj keeps changing the question slightly or demanding that others answer when he/she has already been given the correct answer by Sharon.

If you decide to submit a PR application yourself you should research the IRPA, the Regulations and the manuals as it relates to your personal circumstances.

Regulations can be bent or overcome when certain situations arise unless the person is stubborn like Raj and admits certain things. Like ie: the intention at a POE that you intend to remian not for a temporary period of time.

Everyone here complains about background checks and I have written how they are a three fold issue in certain cases. They are only good for a period of time. I have never been paid for my advice from any person on this message board. I give the information pro bono especially when asked nicely.

Raj He/She wants to Land then return to the US for their (KID) child to be born. Then they want to sponsor their child.

Here is Raj confrontational posting or fifty seventh posting. By the way Raj (PR) stands for Permanent Resident.

And Oh by the way, Roy, please direct me to your post where you had oh so clearly mentioned that being a "PR" (I?ll be looking for those letters) you cannot sponsor from outside Canada.
Thanks.

RAJ CAPITALS AGAIN! Go to www.cic.gc.ca ---click on the blue box policy and regulations---click on the first link Immigration and Refugee Protection Act---scroll to the bottom Related Regulations---then count down five--Imigration and Refugee Protection regulations---then keep scrolling until you get to regulation 130 and read subsection (1) which relates to you!

NO YOU CAN NOT SPONSOR A DEPENDENT CHILD IF YOU ARE A PERMANENT RESIDENT AND THE PERMANENT RESIDENT DOES NOT RESIDE IN CANADA.

Say your sorry to Sharon!

Thanks to all, I got the answers that I wanted and I appreciate your help.... And Roy, I think I will say "Thanks" to Sharon and others (including you) and not sorry !!

You may call me names if you wish Roy, but I think my posts were very concrete and to the point and I´m here to just confirm the rules and discuss about them, if everyone is advised to just read the IRPA manuals and not view their concerns here, then I don´t see the necessity of this forum.
You can go back to bashing my posts now, as far as I am concerned, thanks a lot to all, I´m done with this topic !!

Typical Canadian attitude.

You will find this smug, stuck up attitude when you apply for jobs in Canada too.

Better off staying where you came from. Honestly.

Yours is a typical discriminating attitude. The key implication in all of your posts seems to be that you feel bitter because you couldn´t secure meaningful employment in Canada.

Here´s a suggestion:

Instead of wasting your time on the internet, utilize it for job search and occupational enhancement;

Instead of wasting your time complaining, ask yourself where you might have gone wrong/what action(s) & attitudes you hold (I already see a few) were potentially detrimental and inhibiting to your job search.

Once you can admit your weaknesses, you can then seek to improve on them, and that´s a point to note on your future portfolio/resume. Finding work takes work, dude.

If you can stop whining and posting your complaints for some consistent period of time, I definitely think that you should try aiming to benefit from my suggestions. This is how responsible adults market themselves to employers after all.

No need to troll me, and I doubt you´ll thank me either. But if you do happen to try what I´ve suggested, you´ll definitely have reason to feel thankful.

Just one more note - I read the thing Roy posted in response to Raj´s claim (another thread) that the PR requirement is 2/5 years...Roy said it is 730 days in 5 years, so does Roy realize that 730 days = 2 years (365 days in 1 year x 2)? Or did he mean to emphasize that the time frame is 730 days interrupted rather than 2 consecutive years?
