Subject: US visa and Canadian PR |

I have a question. I would like to apply for a non-immigrant US visa. Currently, my wife and I are waitng to get the Canadian PR visa. We are now in Canada on a temporary visa. My wife has misrepresented herself previously in an non-immigrant US visa application. So, would the US embassy notify Canadian officials if I apply for an US visa (they ask for spouse information in the visa application)? My wife has been absolutely straightforward with the Canadian officials and we do not want to risk our Canadian PR application. I have an understanding that Canada is a sovereign nation and it has its own separate immigration system.
Please advise.

(in reply to: US visa and Canadian PR) I don´t think that us officials will notify canadian officials, they usually don´t, unless canadian officials request such info.

Do Canadian PR need a Visa to travel in US? (in reply to: US visa and Canadian PR) I am a Canadian Permanent Resident. I live in Vancouver. Should I apply US Visa if I want to go to Seattle for a short trip? If yes, how long will it take? Where can I download the application and apply?
