| Subject: What happens if you application is rejected |

My question is what will happen if your immigration application is rejected after 3 years. What i want to know is that it takes 3 years when the applicant is called for the final interview with immigration officer. If the immigration office rejects you application on some technical basis does that mean your 3 years of wait has been wasted. Or does the office gives you some time to improve it and reappear it. By saying technical basis means that immigration officer notice that your basic education desgree is not recognized etc...
Second question .. when you submit your application for immigration, does the immigration office make sure that every thing is complete. Does office also assess you application and let know in advance that your application can succeed in the end.

To answer you first question, yes, you lost 3 years.
Second question,when you get your AOR, your file received a fast pre-check ,meaning it has been checked for completeness of all forms , fees and photo´s and your application is ready for further processing and has been put in the computers system. It does not mean that your application will be accepted.One can only be quite sure after the IA and when interview was waived, only then a decission is made and final completion depends on your security & medical checks.

The AOR makes sure all your documents are in order and your point tally. This is merely a check-list process.
IA is the step for making sure your documents are vaild.
If there is doubt you will be called for an innterview - if something you say and what you had mentioned in apps does not match then you get the axe.
There is no reason to think why you app will be rejected. But yes; if it is you go all the way back. Like the snake and Ladder game.
