| Subject: How to add wife's name to my PR application |

Hey
I am currently in US for the last 4 years and have applied for Canadian PR for myself on 10th Jan´2002 under skilled workers category.
Well, after more than 18 months, last Sep, I recieved a letter from Canadian Immigration asking me to go for a Physical exam and also requested me to send the Police verification along with it.
In meantime, I got married during July and so I have sent a fax and a letter to Canadian Immigration notifying them about the change in my maritial status.
Well, I haven´t recieved any response for more than 4 months from them. They haven´t sent me any letter informing me on how to add my wife´s name to my PR application.
I was wondering, if should I go ahead and proceed with my health certificate and police certificate or wait for them to guide me on how to add my wife´s name to the application.
Please advice

Hi Sriram.
It sounds as though you have a few problems on your hands; not the least of which is the ticking clock on any deadline imposed by CIC for the submission of this required documentation... You may want to either get busy corresponding with the visa office, or hire someone to do it on your behalf. And keep in mind that your medicals are only valid for one year.
