Hello everybody,
I have a question concerning the family class sponsorship: my husband and I have recently applied under family class and I am a little concerned whether my income will have an influence on our application. This is why: I work for a good company and have a good hourly pay, but I only work part time, 6 months a year, which brings me to about $10,000 annually. I also currently live with my mother and my broher, and am still going to the university, and my husband is a programmer. I am not, and have never been on welfare or any kind of social assistance. Will this small income prevent me in any way to be my husband?s sponsor?

have a look at this pdf document. (you need adobe acrobat to opening- it can be downloaded off the internet for free) It is the CIC operational manual that covers inland sponsorship. in it, they discuss financial qualification, and various other issues that likely impact your application.
