| Subject: Two Sponsorships at same time..please help |

I satify all the requirements for parental sponsorship, and I am planning to submit an application for sponsoring my parents which I understand will take several years. Additionally, I have plans to get married within 4-5 months and sponsor my spouse. My first question is can I lodge two applications at the same time? My scond question is can my parent sponsorship application affect my spousal sponsorship application in any way? thanks

Two sponsorships of the same kind are not allowed. If your sponsoring your spouse outside of Canada the processing time is noramlly 6-12 months and in many coutries like China or India the time line is much faster.
I will not accept any clients who wish to sponsor their parents from the same countries mentioned in fact most countries. See www.sponsoryourparents.ca and understand at that end of the process possibly 67 months India or 61 months China when you factor in the 28 months for Mississauga CPC to approve you as a sponsor your parents most likely will not pass their medicals in five + years.

I strongly recommend getting the parents here on a CVV and then submitting an H&C application for Landing based on Inland Processing Manuals IP5 section 6.7 because these Parental processing times is not what was anticpated by the act nor is it your parents fault.
Use the additional IRPA sections on the sponsor your parents website and hopefully you have copies of everything the Liberals have said over the years as to why family reunification is the corner stone of the Immigration act.

I read it all and can´t find anywhere where it says that you can not have two sponsorship at the same time.
