| Subject: Landing Fee can be paid anytime ? |
Right of Permanent Res. Fee can be paid anytime without recieving any such letter. although i have passed my interview and officer told that i would recieve such letter to pay that fees. Its almost a month gone and i want to pay it to process it quickly.

After the interview, it is still possible that the immig officer may require you to submit additional documents. So why not wait for his letter for the next instructions so that everything will be submitted in one package.

I paid my RPR fee after I passed the interview in Los Angeles. The immigration ooficer basically just congratulate me after the interview finished and he asked me whether I want to pay RPR fee at that time and I go to the postal office downstair to get and back to the cashier to pay the fee. After that I had to wait for another 8 months to get my pasport request.

thanku Eric! Officer congratulate me for approval but it happened in NY. Do u know any1 whose interview was in NY and it took the same time 8 months....... or less.

I paid my landing fee along with the initial application itself to avoid delays infact I submitted all documents including employment letters, bank statements, PCC, education certificates etc at one go. I am lead to believe this shortens process time.

Last year you only needed to pay 600, now you need to pay near to 1000. I am so sorry I did not pay it at beginning
