| Subject: PICTURES FOR PR CARD |

I (including my wife and children) was asked by CIC to appear for picture to be retaken for PR card. At that time we had already left canada. They have given me 6 months (letter says "without exceptions") time to take necessary action. I have contected the local canadian embassy and they have told me that I will need returning resident visa to re-enter canada. The visa will be issued based on me fulfilling residency requirements (2 out 5 years in canada) I do not plan to return to canada for another 8 to 10 months time. What shall I do? Shall I contact CIC or Shall I just wait and apply for returning visa from local embassy before reentering canada? Please also give me e-mail / postal address of CIC.
