| Subject: Refund of Right of Permanent Residence Fee |

After almost 4 months of waiting, today i finally recieved the refund of $485 CAD as a result of the RPRF reduction. No request was made to either CIC or Buffalo. I simply allowed Buffalo to take its time. The check (in amount of US$437.41) is to be cashed within 6 months from the date of issue. For your information, i landed as PR on Aug 18.

Great News!
I puzzled on the time though. Aug 18 is only about a month. From what point on did you count 4 months?
BTW I landed on Aug 17th so the reason to ask about clarification as I have not got my refund money!

Peter, The "four months" started from the day visa was issued, give or take. Be patient. It will come. Now check this out. The weaker the US$ become, the more you will get back! So consider that as your reward for the wait. Hehehe..

I did not become a canada permanent resident how to get the refund?
I want to know how many days I can received the permanent resident fee and what can I do now? is it I need to write a letter to cic to require to refund? if yes please give me a cic address?

the application fee is not refundable. If you withdraw your application before receiving a file number - that is the only time you can request a refund.

This is reference to my application "B056483814 " .
My case was rejected due to late submission.Immigration office told me to refund will be done in 8 Week.Now almost 16 week passed i did not get my money back.
Is any one know how much period Canada Immegration office need to return the money

I deposited RPR Fee for myself and my spouse on line but the visa office advised me to send a draft as they do not accept online payment of RPRF under Skilled worker class.Therefore I submitted the draft. Now I want refund of my online RPRF payment of CAD 980.00 How can I initiate the refund application.

Hello, can you provide more detailed information about that?? Cause i just have done the same. I payed fees using online service, but i´m outside of Canada. And I needsomehow to return my money back. To whom did you write this the draft?
