Subject: Reenter Canada without PR Card, after Landing |
We are planing to land in Oct - Nov timeframe.. we´ll come back to US in couple of days after landing.
As I understand it takes 6 weeks to get the PR card, if we have to go back to canada during this period, is it possible ? what are the options ?

(in reply to: Reenter Canada without PR Card, after Landing) You can re-enter Canada with your COPR (which will be attached to your passport the day you land)from USA. The only way you will need your PR card is if you re-enter Canada other way than road. I mean, airplane, ship, etc.
My husband keep going back and forth from Canada to USA by road with his COPR with no problem at all.
Hope this help.

(in reply to: Reenter Canada without PR Card, after Landing) If you plan to enter by air - need a landing document from the consulate. charge is about $50.
