Iwould like to know the visa processing time if I apply from UK. Any suggestions are welcome as right now I dont have that much information about the canadian immigration.
Thnx,

Guidance Needed (in reply to: Guidance needed) Here is your best option!
If you are under thirty years of age go to the London Canadian Embassy site and you can apply for an open work permit. Meaning any employer can hire you. Come on over and search out employers and start to work right away!
Then apply for a PNP certificate.
OR
You need to go to the CIC site at www.cic.gc.ca and look for the quick links right side and click on processing times.
Regulation 11 allows persons to apply at their own visa post (LONDON) or in any other visa post IF they have been lawfully admitted for one year.
Federal Skilled worker processing times for you are;
London 25-52 months
Buffalo 20-45 months
You can also apply as a Provincial Nominee which in your case would be a skilled worker with a PNP certificate after you get an offer of full time employment in your field.
That would give you an additional 15 points!
Processing Times as PNP;
London 4-9 months
Buffalo 7-12 months
To see the various PNP sites go to www.cic.gc.ca and click on left side To Immigrate and scroll down to Provincial Nominee and pick a province your interested in. Ontario will have a PNP program probably by December 2006.
Wishing you all the best.
