(in reply to: Can personal check be used to pay for caips file?) Are you sure that you must pay for getting your CAIPS notes? If you live in Canada I do not think you need to do so. Search the previous postings for CAIPS.

caips (in reply to: Can personal check be used to pay for caips file?) if you are a canadian, you can apply for the caips notes for someone who has given CIC authourization to disclose. Yes, there is a fee $5. It can be paid by a cheque drawn from a Canadian bank.

(in reply to: Can personal check be used to pay for caips file?) this is a previous forum posting. our administrator has made great efforts to give us a search function. we should use it.
For those applicants who are already living in Canada, you can directly obtain CAIPS notes. Complete the form TBC 350-57 found here
http://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/tbsf-fsct/dwnld/350-57_e.pdf
For the federal govt institution, write CIC. Next field provide your immigration file number and mention that you want to obtain CAIPS notes. Complete the rest of the form and along with a $5 money order mail to
Citizenship and Immigration Canada
