Subject: Visitor Visa renewal application refused |

Hi.
My bother-in-law (from Ukraine) has been in Canada staying with us for almost 7 months. Before his visa expired in August we applied for an extension. It was just refused and he was told in the letter to leave Canada immediatelty. Can he appeal or re-apply? He wants to stay longer. What can we do?
Thanks for any help in advance!
Scott

(in reply to: Visitor Visa renewal application refused) i think the rational thing to do is to leave Canada now as prompted.
and then probably he can re-apply for visa and try to extend his stay. i think that staying right now = breaking the law. would not do that, Scott(

(in reply to: Visitor Visa renewal application refused) you can apply but its 1% chance to be approved so I would just leave.
