Working with a Canadian company in the US

Subject: Working with a Canadian company in the US
I have receiver my Canadian Permanent residency approval on August 2006. Under the Permanent Resident Obligation, I need to accumulate two years out of five of physical presence in Canada, unless I was employed by a Canadian Company abroad.

Currently I am considering a job opportunity with a Canadian Bank here in the USA. My Questions are as follows:
1. In order for my time working with this bank in the US to be considered towards my two years, should I join the bank in the US office ONLY after landing in Canada first? In other words, do I have to land in Canada first accompanied by a job offer letter, and then after receiving my PR card I come back to join the bank.
2. Or, can I join the bank in the US before my landing and then go to Canada, do my landing, then return to resume my work with the bank in the US and my time working with it in the US (starting the time I returned from my landing) would still be considered towards my two years requirement.

My other question is that when I land in Canada, should I wait until I receive my PR card before going the to American Consulate visa office in Canada to stamp my visa on my non-Canadian passport so I can re-enter the USA?

Thank you
