17 years ago at the age of 17 my boyfriend was fined ?40 in a magistrates court for doing something stupid (impersonating a police officer). The criminal record is now spent, but, we are worried how it will effect us now that we are applying for a work permit for Canada. We have applied for a criminal record check and it comes back with nothing saying hes of good character, like mine, as ive never been arrested or convicted.
Any help would be appreciated.

i suppose that if your criminal record check comes back clear - you don´t have nothing to worry about
