Subject: Medical Examination - expecting baby .... |
Our IA (Buffalo) is complete and we received forms for medical exam from CIC. The CIC has asked to complete the medical exam in 60 days. My wife is pregnant and we are expecting a baby in May 07. We can not get the X-Ray completed until May 07. What should the next steps be??
Reagrds.

(in reply to: Medical Examination - expecting baby ....) Your wife will be able to complete the medicals, but as you mentioned, she will have to wait for the X Rays. As I understand it, go ahead and have the meds completed, without X Ray, and have the doctor send them in. I believe that your application will be "on hold" until May, when your wife will be able to do her XRays and CIC can proceed from there. The good news is that it doesn´t take too long from that point to PPR, so hold in there. Congrats on the baby!

(in reply to: Medical Examination - expecting baby ....) Of course the best thing to do would be to talk with the immigration doctor first hand; he or she will outline your best course of action.
