| Subject: where to mail police clearances |

I am a Canadian citizen living in the US. I am sponsoring my husband. According to Appendix B it states that police clearances obtained from the US sould be mailed to the RPC. However it states in the package that my entire application should be mailed to the CPC in Mississauga. Should my application be mailed to Mississauga and the police clearance to the RPC in Buffalo. Or the entire package to the CPC??

Hi,
As far as I was able to tell, the entire package (all the application forms and supporting documents - such as police certificates, copy of marriage certificate, etc.) should be sent to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga. Once Mississauga approves you for sponsorship, they will forward everything to the Regional Processing Centre in Buffalo.
Atleast that is what my husband and I did, when we submitted our application for sponsorship (I´m American, he´s Canadian), and so far they haven´t told us we did anything wrong by doing it that way.
