I married my canadian husband and still waiting for my PR..this is been a terrible situation becuase since I moved to Canada he has changed a lot ,he is not the same person I met back home in Guatemala. Now he is like a hog. He asks me to do all kinds of nasty things in bed and he demeans me and beats me while we have intimacy. Being so afraid to be deported i have to put up with a person that mistreats me all the time.
I just need some advice about what to do. Not being able to work, being homesick and also mistreated by the person who you love is not easy to deal with.
Seriously I may be back to my country...at least I would recover my dignity because that is priceless.

you should go to the canadian police and tell everything you are experiencing. that is not humane treatment as a wife. your husband is some kind of a sadist which will go on until you leave him. you must not leave canada bec. of this. you must believe the canadian justice system and human
rights advocacy.
