Subject: Simplified Skilled Application Process for H1B?
I am on H-1 B in U.S, do I qualify for Simplified process?

In the Canadian Immigration Site, it is clearly mentioned that people who are legally residing in U.S.A on non-Immigrat status, who are applying their application through the buffalo office do not qualify for this process and when I look at all the Visa processing offices, I could see that the only
only office available to US residents is Buffalo, do I sound right?

I currently reside in Jersey City, NJ.

Thanks,

Buffalo RPC does not use the simplified system they have sufficent storage space to house your documents.

A very common misconception. Simplified application is a bad thing(I guess the naming of the process causes the confusion). Its a good thing if you do not qualify for the simplified process. It means your processing will be faster. Simplified application process is mainly created so that people do not update their file 40 times(very possible when the processing period is 6 years). Its a big hassle for the immigration officials and it takes a lot of storage space.
