Hi
I need some orintationI about my status situation, could anyone help?
I apply for my visa extension one month and a half before it expired, and I got an answer letter two weeks after expiring.
I was told that I forgot to attach some copies, so I had to apply again.
I left Canada two weeks after that, I thought that If I had applied again I would have gotten an answer many days after that, when I had already left.
For Canadian laws I overstay my visa and now I´m trying to contact via e-mail and fax the Canadian Embassy in Mexico but I get no answer (in MExico city), and in the Canadian Embassy in Mexico webpage, there´s no information about overstaying and how to correct the status. Only in the Canadian webpage, but this situation is only fixed OUT CANADA.
I want to go back to Canada soon for a few weeks, and I want to fix my status situation, but I have no idea how I can do that, what process, what format, anything.

You had not technically overstayed!
Anyone that applys on time has implied status and when they sent your application back to get more documents they never told you that you have to leave immediately.
I am assuming either you were a visitor or..... what type of visa did you have because Mexicans do not need a CVV.

Yes, I went to Canada as a visitor, without any CVV, right? just 6 months of permission.
I´m afraid the immigracion officer won´t let me in the next time I visit Canada, because I stayed one more month ( 7 months) even though either it was my fault or not.
Is there anything I could do? or I am free to visit whenever I want to.
