Hi all,
Especially the experts!!
i applied for Immigration in Buffalo NY in 2000 and had my file transfered to New, Delhi India in 2001. I got married and divorced a year back.
i am now remarried to a german and living in germany for the last 7 months. i want to transfer the file to germany. PROBLEM is i didnt inform the Delhi Embassy of the first marriage and divorce. But i want to apply for my german wife as a dependant. do i have to include info about my first marraige?? will this work against me?? what should i do.
any advice will be really appreciated

you must take your chances and advise about all changes in status. It is better you tell them than they find out. You are dealing with misrepresentation issues here and CIC does not look kindly on the practice.

hi Sharon,
thankyou for your advice. i was thinking the same. but wondering how to put it across and explain my not informing them. i guess furnishing proof of each step ie. the first marriage and divorce would be the best way.

I think you should wait a bit and then transfer because if you divorce again it is more headache.

you are somewhat at their mercy. your best bet (IMO) is to tell them everything. The truth is not the issue. Witholding information IS.

yes sharon i see that i am at their mercy but circumstances at the time were bad and i had given up the idea of immigarting.

I lived in canada as a turist , I used to extend my visa and then I lived there, but the last months I moved to other place and I didnt check the mail box, the I didnt know if got my last chance, anyway I stayed there whithout visa (I think so ...I didnt check the mail box, moved to live another house).
Now my grilfriend and I are gonna get marriage ...the I ´d like to know if it gonna be a problem for us...( she is from canada, we are gonna get marriage net summer 2007)
