I received my IA from the LA office on March 31st,2006 and was asked to submit the following documents:
I tracked the mail which I sent the documents and the following dates reflect it.
1. Medicals which were received by the Ottawa Office on April 10th 2006.
2. RPRF Fee which I sent to the LA office.
3. FBI police certificates for myself and my wife which were received by the LA office on May 27th 2006.
My ecas hasn´t been updated and I dont have confirmation that the documents were received by CIC. I sent an e-mail to LA inquiry about 2 months back to confirm whether they received the documents but never got a reply from them.
The wait is quite long and on top of it, there is no proper feedback as to what is happening regarding your application.

I had same timeline but I got PR visa by 8th of Sept.
