Hi Currently I am working in US and landing in Canada in November. I also took a appointment for my H1-B stamping in US Consulate in Ottawa, Canada.
Since I am landing there as Green card holder is it ok to go for H1-B stamping ??
1) Is there any issue on it ?
1) Also Can I drive there ?
3) How much fund I should take there with me ? Does I need to take Traveler´s check with me or just bank statement is fine ?
Your help in this is highly appreciated
-Thanks

(in reply to: Question) no issues applying for H1B revalidation even if you are a PR.
Yes, you can drive there.
Wait for more informed answers for the 3rd question :)

GC Holder needs H-1B? (in reply to: Question) if you are a GC holder, what´s the point of stamping H-1B?

(in reply to: Question) Suhas,
I did all the things that you are trying to do, without any problems. The ans to your questions are;
1) No issues at all
2)Yes, I drove from US to Canada
3) You dont need travellers cheques. I just took a color print-out of my recent bank statements. The total money I showed was about 5K - 6K US dollars. The officer barely glanced at it.
