Subject: Positive testimony, something happy or reassuring
  Hello all.
There are generally two types of threads on this forum, newbies asking questions coupled with excellent suggestions by people already well involved/ informed. Then there are people with horror stories, or accounts of frustrations. They have a place here, and it is important to tell those frustrations and realize that you are not alone in your travails.

However, can someone share some positve experiences here? A pleasant phone call, a landing experience, an easy application process, excitement of some sort, anything? A life in Canada that made all of this red-tape worth it?

Hi Greg,

I definitely understand what are you talking about. I know that lots of people do not like a sense of frustration in the postings of this forum. But, as a person how probably has been involved in immigration affairs, do not you think something may be wrong with immigration? Do not you think that waiting times for application processing are a little bit abnormal? Have you ever thought why 5 years ago it took 6-7 months while it currently takes 2-3 years to be finalized? Have you ever thought that immigration the is a matter of life or death for some people? Have you ever been in Afghanistan? Have you ever been in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, ...?

My friend, some people are really suffering from this tormentor, stressful process. Believe me mu friend, immigration for them is something more than higher living standards, earning more money and ... It is a matter of life and death.

My friend, if you do not like this sense of frustration, that ok. But just leave this forum for the people who really need a place to tell others what really torments them even though most of the times no one cares what they are talking about...

Yours

Hey Suresh,
I think Greg just wanted to see the positive news, and he mentioned that it is important that people share their frustration in this forum. Don´t be so harsh!!
