Subject: FAQ!
  Hello Everybody,
This forum contains such a wealth of information. But sometime I find that the questions are repeated so many times. I was wondering if someone could volunteer to create a section - FAQ!

Here is a sample question that has been asked a zillion times.... ´how long does it take after .....?´

Any thoughts!?

Excellent Idea (in reply to: FAQ!)
We are willing to create a seperate pages only for FAQ.
But lets first create a list of questions and let´s follow it this way. Simply those who want to participate in creating faq state the topic and put your name beside it.
Like this:
Section: FAQ
Topic: What are CAIPS notes?
Name: John Doe

Now John Doe will supply an explanation and submit it to canada@canada-city.ca, when received we will organize all FAQ into subcategories and post it on the web site. Credit will be provided for those who provide the name, otherwise please state that you don´t want your name to be published.

Thank you all for participation and for supporting this little task.

Double checking be4 final publishing (in reply to: FAQ!)
That is a good point Sharon, How do we know what is correct and what is incorrect. I guess we can have few people verify and improve submitted information before it goes live.

Authenticity is really important. There are certain questions which have documented answers yet are being asked repeatedly, so we could post the answers here. As for the questions where we are not sure we could ofcourse try to validate, however my original idea was to probably collect the most probable answers already posted and group them.

There will certainly be some counter arguments, as in the case of average processing time (I saw posting somewhere in this forum). To some people average processing time might not mean anything, but for others it does explain a lot. In FAQ, we are not dealing with individual questions but the general situations.

Since we have already started, please make it happen!

I did make a FAQ lists but no one was willing to get it going.

I guess someone from a 3rd party (paralegal) can be contacted or invited to answer FAQ questions. They will devote their time for free advertising and possibility of picking countless clients from this forum as well. If administrator can contact me - I´d be willing to initiate the process to contact paralegals.
