we would like to hear what your advice (MP etc) has been beyond outside forum.

I did not tell you that I can supply you with a free lawyer. I said that I see situations in the news every day where a lawyer or law student will help with a case for free. It is up to you to do the research. I live in BC...if you are in Ontario or Quebec, I am not much good to you.

I am sure this will make you very angry but to be 100% truthful, I do not think you are supplying us with the whole story. Your information is far too selective. If you ranted on with the immigration staff at the border, you have created 2 situations to overcome... not just one. If your husband has a police record or affiliations that render him inadmissible... then he is inadmissable-period. That is not Canada´s problem - that is yours. Marriage does not nullify Canadian law. You have 2 countries giving you a bad time. Canada says no to him, the US is saying no to you! It takes a lot for this kind of action from border staff. What happened at the border that you are not telling- again your information is selective. All you are telling us is that in your personal opinion, immigration and border staff have treated you unfairly. Maybe they are doing their job! That is not big news.

I am concerned that you invite people who are patiently or impatiently waiting to be with their partners to participate in your media efforts. Their problems are time and process...yours are legal.

Well said Sharon. I 100% agree with you in that the whole story is not being told. Selective information is being presented to us to stir up our emotions when we know full well that the people at the borders have one solid mandate - to keep the citizens of their respective countries safe.

Why do people think they can outsmart the system? There is obviously a legitimate reason (if not many) that this situation is occurring. If you are so desperate to be with your "rehabilitated" husband, then move to another country together.

While the rest of us law-abiding citizens are following the rules and waiting patiently in line to be with our loved ones, these types of "presentations" cast doubt in everyone´s minds about their own cases and show us only one lopsided view of the situation.

Get help.

Wondering
You can always fly (in reply to: to totallyforhim)
As I had mentioned before - either of you can fly to Canada or USA; unless you have a criminal record on file allowing you not to do so. I agree with Sharon here - law is not right or wrong; people are. Law only ensure a fair play. If you have restriction to leave-it is your problem and not of agent at border. He/She are only doing their job. Your other option is to fly to a third country and make good there.

I call it like I see it. Sorry you don´t like it. As for becoming an immigration officer... you could not pay me enough to do that job.

For what reasons has your husband been unable to cross the border? You have not told us for what he has been pardoned. If all issues have been solved (state side), the border officers would not prevent his passage into Canada--so there must be something else, or things are not exactly pardoned.

Unfortunately people are unable to give advice when they don´t know the whole story and the details that surround the case. We aren´t experts here, we just give our opinions based on our experiences.

Sometimes we may not like the advice we are given, but when we seek help, we should be prepared for anything!

If you wish to have assistance with your situation you need to be more forthcoming with the details. Otherwise, I will reserve my sympathy for a more worthy, truthful case.

No problemo:-) (in reply to: to totallyforhim)
This is a Canada Immigration forum here, after all:-) Have fun, Immigration co-workers!!

I am glad I did not explain my situation in details. It would be worse than it was already.

For few of you who are worthy to be heard, I hope you the best.

Good wind, perfect folks:-)

A servant of the Lord Jesus.

Dear Sharon.. (in reply to: to totallyforhim)
I would never ever pay a person like you ....I prefer to spend my american money getting a house in Palm Springs.

It is good you did not vent... (in reply to: to totallyforhim)
Your whole story. Personally I find this forum full of frustrated people .
There are some other forums where people are freindlier and more willing to help without making judgments.

when someone desperately says´PLEASE HELP´ we ALL do our best. Nobody likes bad news/the truth - including me. Unfortunately there are times when bad news is all there is. If you don´t want to hear the answers, don´t ask. Good luck totallyforhim. I hope it works out for you. Sandy, I have no interest in offering advice to someone who has not asked. Enjoy your house in Palm Springs.

Good wind (in reply to: to totallyforhim)
Sharon,

You have the truth:-) and you are perfect:-) You are then, SUPERIOR. Good for you.

I did not say: "Please help". I offered to be part of the group instead and offered a good solution for those who are suffering for absolutly for nothing at all.

Seems there is bad leaders here so folks did not hear my good offer.

Mimi - maybe your message wasn´t addressed to me at all, but just in case - I just don´t let people telling me stupidities because they believe they are the grandmother of God. That´s all. I don´t care if I am not loved. I am not on earth to be loved but to do my mission.

Good wind.
