so i´ve been in canada for a month now and just secured employment in my field..didn´t take as long as i thought it would then again i caught a really lucky break. all i can say is that its all about networking...seriously!! if i can do it then ANYONE can!!
my advice would be to get out and take advantage of EVERY single free resource the city offers in the way of career assistance. make sure your resume is "canadianized" and you tell everyone you meet what you´re looking for. take all the workshops, get all the info and advice you can from everyone you find. you never know who will be your contact for the job you want as was the case with me.
