Subject: Are Australian university qualifcations accepted? |

I´m interested in emigrating to Canada, but have read that many immigrants who qualify on the immigration points system, have trouble gaining employment once in Canada.
The problem is that the overseas qualifications aren´t accepted by Canadian employees.
I want to know if this problem applies to Australian university qualifications?

(in reply to: Are Australian university qualifcations accepted?) Many professionals (like me) immigrated into Canada with brand American degree+experience but brutally failed to get a job. I even became a loser with a 2nd Masters from the University of Toronto (best school in Canada). That should give you a good indication.
Competition here is unthinkable and immigrants have to start from the entry level. That´s still OK. But the entry level jobs are awarded to the local fresh Bachelors holders with previous intern experience and has good personal relationship. Above all, in Canada, nepotisom plays the greatest role.
