| Subject: Traveling while PR card is in process. |

Hi everybody,
I just landed and the immigration people informed me that I will get the PR card within four to six weeks. But I need to go to my home country. The visa came with immigration it can be used until april 2007.
I have also student visa until 2008 ( I am not sure wheather I can use the student visa anymore).
Do you think I could travel while my PR card is in proces?
And if I travel which visa should I use? Student visa? or immigration visa?

Most probably you can´t use your student Visa anymore as your status is now PR.
But, if you are not from a Visa waived country you have to take visa from your home country Canadian Embassy. The visa given to you as a PR should be for single entry. Not Multiple entry like tourist or student visa.
