Subject: Processing time from Hong Kong
  Hi All,

I am an Indian citizen, applied Canada immigration under skilled category in Dec 99 from Hong Kong. Now I am working in USA from last 3.5 yrs.

I updated my file many times with all the paper work, new forms, proof of funds, FBI/PCC clearance. I did not submit IELTS result (got 6.5)

My lawyer told me one guy got a query (proof of fund) and other got interview waiver. Both filed their application at the same time with me.
I am getting frustrated now. How much time it will take? Any one has idea, what´s going on in Hong Kong? I did not request CAIPS notes. Should I go for that now or wait?

Thanks,
Rahul

Hi Rahul.

Obtaining your CAIPS Notes are a good idea when trying to determine what the hold-up is with your Skilled Worker application. However, why isn´t your lawyer doing something about this?

My Lawyer told me that, people are getting response now.
One more guy got waiver who applied same time with me in 1999 from Hong kong and not the resident there. He did not update the file/no IELTS even.

Let wait for one more month and see. Then we can ask for CAIPS notes.

Your best choice would be obtain your CAIPS notes.
The faster the better.
