Subject: Wife Sponsership |

Hi Experts
I am pr and sponsered my wife from outside canada on August 09/2006.
at missisauga. The file always shows in process. I called cic and they told me that its in process. They havent sent me any document missing or any other notice. Does any body knows how long should i wait and is there is any time limit in such situation. the case is straight forward no kids no adoption etc.
Is there is any action should i take accept famous answer wait

They are doing Sept. 12 2006 so you must have really messed up. Do you have a tracking number? Did you get married just before you became a PR?
You got a problem or..... If your in Canada I suggest you retain someone to deal with Mississauga CPC ASAP or have you moved and not changed your address?
Hopefully you kept a copy of everything you sent in including the payment.

My address is same as i got my clint id on this address and havent changed.
I have copies of my document and fees is clear.
I am PR from last two years. The only thing is i am divorced. but my divorce certificate is attached and i dont have any claims or kids.
They havent asked for any document clearnece.
I am in toronto, can you suggest me whom should i go for this scenario

(in reply to: Wife Sponsership) R U sure the file has not been returned to you? I suggest you call e-cas again and write your logical questions down before you call.
1. Has any mail be sent to ne?
2. Ask them to e-mail Mississauga CPC re-processing times.
3. Have edvidence in your hand that the application was delivered.
etc.
You can retain who ever you wish but much of this can be resolved by not reacting with emotions.
Go over your forms with a fine tooth comb to try to find mistakes you made. Did you and your partner answer the bold question that is not numbered at the end of each persons questionnaire?
