Hello all,
My husband and I received our IA on June 26, 2004 (interview waived). They wanted some additional docs and Medical. We send all the requested documents, on August 3, 2004. However, CAIPS still has the same documents listed as missing (Background check, Proof of Funds). We checked with FEDEX and docs were received and signed for on August 4th but it was not noted on CAIPS. We recently faxed the Consulate in Buffalo and they noted that they are still waiting for Background check from NJ state and proof of funds. We faxed them back with the print out of the FEDEX signature and confirmation that docs were received on August 4th. We also applied for new background check with the NJ state and noted that we will send it as soon as we receive it. We received total of 6 pages of CAIPS notes. On 4 of the pages, the BF´D (bring forward date) is 29-09-2004, but on 2 of the pages the BF´D is on 29-12-2005! Which date should we go by?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you all.

I have now seen two different responses to this quesiton. SOmeone else wrote that the second BF´D is automatically assigned by the computer and has nothing to do with when the file is actually getting looked at (which is every time there is new docs arriving for the file). Can I get third opinion? Anyone?
